CTET Result 2016: CBSE conducts CTET twice in a year. CTET was held in the month of Feb across the country but for Haryana state CTET was organised on 08 May 2016 due to Jat Agitation. The good news is, CTET result has been announced and uploaded on the official website.

Enter your roll number to check the result. Those who have appeared for the CTET examination will be allowed to check the result status. On 21 Feb 2016, the CTET was conducted at various centres across the country & in Haryana state CTET held on 06 April 2016. The successful candidate shall be issued a CTET certificate/Statement of marks after that candidate will be allowed to apply for the teacher post in various govt. schools affiliated to CBSE mainly.

Procedure to download CTET Result 2016
The result publicised on CBSE website: cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. By entering login credentials competent will be able to check the result status. Keep checking our website for the updated information regarding the CTET. To check the result follow the steps mentioned below.
- Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on result section.
- Now the candidate will be redirected to CTET result login page.
- Enter the roll number and click on submit button. The result will appear on the screen.
- Take a print out of the result.
Note: CTET Certificate will be dispatched to the successful candidate after the result announcement.
Feature of CTET Result 2016
CTET result will show the name of the candidate, Roll number, Fathers name, category, Subject wise marks& final overall CTET Score.
Conditions for Awarding CTET 2016 Certificate
As per the NCTE notice a candidate whose score will be equal to 60% or more than that , he/she shall get through the CTET exam. So we can say candidate has to score 90 marks out of 150 to get a tag of qualified candidate and later on he/she will be awarded with a CTET certificate of eligibility. By using this certificate candidate will get preference in govt. teacher recruitment in CBSE affiliated schools. But as you read he/she will be preferred but candidate has to fetch that job by own talent, this certificate just gives an access to appointment. Reserved candidate will be treated as per the reservation criteria mentioned by the govt. of India.
Validity & Applicability of CTET certificate/Statement of marks
The CTET Result 2016 certificate will be given to all successful candidate who gets through this examination which has a validity of 07 years from the date of result. Validity will expire after a fixed period of time. Candidate can use this certificate to get govt. teacher job in CBSE affiliated schools.
All central govt. schools like KVS, NVS, Tibetan and others all appoint CTET qualified teachers. Many unaided private schools also consider CTET certificate for the teacher posts. State govt managed schools & aided schools conduct TET for the recruitment of teachers but sometimes when the state does not conduct TET due to some reason,it considers CTET certificate that time.
Analysis of Previous year CTET results:
For the first time, CBSE organised CTET in 2010. That time approximately 7 lakh students. The pass percentage was low. Candidate can analyse previous year results to get an idea about this year result.
